Rabindra Bhavan of Guwahati has been witnessed the classical and
light-classical music show ‘Sangit Pradip’. ‘Sangit Jeuti’ along
with the Cultural Affairs department of Assam government
and ‘Surya’, the music show has succeeded to continue its
two years-long journeys.
The program was being anchored by Nayan Prasad and Juri Sharma. Manjula Hazarika, veteran writer, and Social worker, and Surya Goswami, veteran Tablist had lightened the lanterns. Champion classical singer Sikha Dutta and Setarist Hema Hazarika were facilitated by Additional Secretary of Assam Government Deva Prasad Mishra and veteran artist Manisha Hazarika. Different celebrated personalities like Anupam Choudhuri, Kula Boruah, Anindita Paul, Bhitali Das, Jayanta Gogoi, Pulak Banerjee, Pawan Bordoloi, Nandita Sharma, Tarun Kalita, Kajal Sharma, Joyprakash Medhi, Jayanta Das, and many others had attended the show. Celebrated Mohan flutist Neelabh Sharma and celebrated classical singer Pragyan Boruah performed the show. General Secretary of ‘Sangit Jeuti’ and highly celebrated singer Gayatri Hazarika and Cultural Secretary of the same and singer Viquilina Doley claimed to continue the trend of the show. Achitabh Boruah, Secretary of ‘Surya’ and Nayan Prasad, President of ‘Sangit Jeuti’ had thanked all the guests on behalf of the organizers.
